Together, Francesco and Annette re-pioneered the Mobile Tented Photographic Safari Under Canvas in Tanzania thirty years ago when there was virtually no tourism in the country.Renowned for their personalized attention to every detail, from tailoring Safari Routes through designing menus and guiding the safaris they seek to share a Grand African Wildlife Experience. These Safaris cater specifically to North Americans on a strictly Word of Mouth referral. Doing only about eight safaris a year and maintaining a low key exclusive approach this family endeavor has been touted from The New York Times to Harper’s Hideway Report as the premier safari company. Its long list of afficionados and 75% repeat record include US Senators, Movie personalities, European Royalty and a role in the filming of Out of Africa.

Fathili Mamuya affectionately known as Max hails from Kilimanjaro. Max has worked with, studied as an apprentice and has been a senior guide to our guests for two decades. He is a good man, highly experienced and knowledgeable in the local flora, fauna as well as local folklore and culture giving his guests the privilege of a wonderfully fun, diverse and educational experience.
